Our Company History
Hopper Development Incorporated was founded in 1970 by Robert Hopper. Drawing from his professional experience with -and personal passion for- building molds, Robert invested in a modest molding operation in Logansport, Indiana. Not long after founding his company, it became apparent that HDI was outgrowing this humble facility and was ready for expansion. Hopper Development was relocated to its 18th street location, where it remains today.
Robert possesed an incredible work ethic and uncompromising standard of quality for the products that would come to bear his company's name. He constantly sought to not only meet, but exceed the expectations of his customers. We hold these standards as central to the company we are today. For over four decades, we have ensured that every costumer, large or small, have the same relationship with HDI that Robert cultivated at the start. Two generations of the Hopper family and counting bring this experience to you.
